This sleeveless blouse by Ann Demeulemeester, a Belgian designer, demonstrates my love for the art of draping.
Demeulemeester initially showed no interest in fashion and after attending art school she grew fascinated with people and portraiture. This spark her idea of creating clothes. Knowing how the human body works and looks she would be able to see how fabric would fall and settle from the body.
Who better than to team this blouse with than a master of draping, Roland Mouret. The pencil skirt silhouette compliments the gathered fabric on Faye's hips.
With a great silhouette created by her choice of ensemble, Faye struck a pose of consistency.
