"BOW TIES ARE FOR FLY GUYS"

While couped up in our office, slaves to the world of fashion, constantly racing against time to raise the next purchase order, keeping up with trend and the ways of it's forever changing mind, we all got caught up in a very cool trend for "the man".

Need I say it but my next ensem-blists are fly guys all wearing bow ties. Mr Patsalis, Mr Pearce and Mr Murdoch-Smith. Boys I salute you...

The joy of a bow tie is that you can literally mix it up with so many pieces of your wardrobe. I only own three however I am constantly being asked by people if it's another new one. Something so small, with a distinct shape, but it is a master of disguise as it constantly reworks itself time and time again.

Pick basic colours if you want to work the bow tie with distinct tweed jackets as Mr Pearce does or as demonstrated by Mr Patalis and Mr Murdoch-Smith pick bold prints to work with solid coloured knitwear and jackets.

The best type of bow tie is self-tied as it creates a fantastic organic bow. Below find how to tie your bow tie..."it's pretty easy".

So gents take the world by storm and tie it in a bow.

xoxo
